In real life you would not want to build large scale underwater engineering in a swamp. But in Minecraft, it's all good. The coolest parts of this base are definitely below ground. Here is the storage area:

You can reach the storage area from the main house, or from a secret hole in the swamp surrounding the house.

I am a newb with Redstone, so I usually have to look up plans and copy them. This is OMGChad's potion brewing machine:

To be honest I forget exactly how this thing works. Basically though, you stock it with ingredients and then flip a switch to indicate what potion you want to make, then press the master start switch. It's magic!

I built the bedroom for this base underground, right up against the lake.

Sleepy time in the swamp isn't so bad!
